A wallet for the best Dad!

So, this is the Christmas present! A lady with a handsome son and a beautiful daughter ordered this also handsome wallet for her hubby as his special gift! The letters on the cover spells the initials of their family members! What a 'CHARM' family! And infact they do all look charming :)

This is a 100% hand-sewn wallet made with genuine cow leather in citrus color with special treatment on the card slots area to make the leather thinner so it won't be bulky even though you stuff more than 6 cards in there. There are 2 hidden pockets underneath the 6 card slots to accommodate more cards. I chose wax thread instead of linen thread for this one because I want a mix of classy (the citrus color leather reflects classy feeling, just think of Hermes...) and casual. The vibrant egg yolk color of the wax thread here has done a great job giving this classy leather a younger tone.

Found this magazine in a bookshop yesterday, and I feel so delightful reading through it this Christmas morning. It is overall a young designers and hand-crafters supporting magazine, very heartwarming as it is packed with inspirational real life stories of creators. I love the Frank Bits section where they spend 9 full pages describing interesting little crafts & designs they found on the web (they even would pick crafters from Etsy!). I love how it is not brand-oriented like other fashion & design magazines, it is rather the story behind the creation that they are interested in. Reading through it feels like they are saying "Hi there! We can see you, you hang in there, keep up your good work and be proud of the creator inside you!" Thanks frankie :) this is exactly what I need!

However, I can only do the magic on hard cases. Soft cases fidget around too much, the leather won't be able to settle on it.

Pre-launching my Black Cat series

If my Black Cat series is a meal, than this kitty cat head-wear is the appetizer!

It is hand-sewn with shiny black genuine nappa leather! Ears are not too big, just enough to make the statement without halloween-ish. And most of all, it smells good!!!! I mean the nappa leather smell of course! Some of us just attracted by the fine smell of leather, right?!

I created this kitty cat envelope clutch after inspired by this song! 

It is made with genuine cow leather, hand-stitched with japanese sky blue thread, embossed with golden 'Love me Hold me' on its back, eyes are made with sky blue glass stone, snap button as its nose, and its tongue as easy puller. Fits A4 size magazines and documents, yet still roomy enough to carry your keys and cards. Perfect for carrying a magazine and just keys & cash flow cards to your weekend cafe visit!

You see that pair of blue flats I was wearing? They are the mouse-sy flats from Marc By Marc Jacobs. I reckon this kitty cat clutch goes well with these mouse-sy flats! Cat and mouse! Why not add a bit of playful elements into our outfit?!

I love a notebook with blank pages to scribble my ideas and fantasies while having my wee break in a cafe. Without a second thought, I always order a mocha - perfect mix of sweetness and bitterness... just like our life!

This notebook is 100% hand-binded by me, features cushioned cotton covering, leather spine and pencil holder, stitched together with japanese linen thread, and a elastic band to keep the pages tidy.

Tempting sky blue

Heavy duty carrier

A beige color bucket tote I made early this year. It is made of genuine cow leather, hand-sewn with moss green and burgundy waxed thread. The opening can be kept shut by a simple knot with the burgundy leather lace. I am using this tote now to carry my stuffs around, it can stand up to quite heavy duty I reckon.

In case you are wondering about what's the beautiful poppy flower pattern tote, that's my Marimekko! I love to match this flowery pattern tote with my blue jeans outfit, they are perfect match!
