Have been busy editing photos of my new creations. In the meanwhile...

Check out some captions of the making and my sell table on the day of
the Auckland Art & Craft Fair:

My very first market table! I love to meet people and chatting over my products.

My signature creation - the Kitty Cat Envelope Clutch - was also there to show off its cuteness :)

Here's a closer look of the display table. The Bubble Cat Brooch is also one of my new creations. I will be developing a leather jewelery line using the Bubble concept :)

These small leather purses (card/ coin purse) were the new feature of my creations. The beads decor are high quality Japanese glass beads which is at washable grade - that means they are more resistance to wearing off of color by use. The beads are mounted onto the leather firmly with a super-fine nylon thread, therefore they won't come off easily.

Oh! And thank you so much for my brother Kei (he is one of the top 3 designers in the NZ Kleenex Paper Dress Competition 2012!! So proud of you Kei!!) for helping me out at the Fair :)

Freebies for the coming Auckland Art & Craft Fair :)

The Auckland Art & Craft Fair is approaching in a month time! I have been preparing for 5 freebie gift packs today. They are all messaged leather bookmarks. Veg tanned leather with colorful tags. Aren't they lovely?! The organizer of the show will chuck them into the VIP's goodies bags. I am also going to make sets of messaged leather bookmarks that will be available for purchase during the show. I think they make a nice and affordable Christmas gift :)

Super slim-fit Kindle cover!!!

This is a SUPER SLIM-FIT leather jacket I designed and created for my new Kindle Paperwhite today! The jacket is made of thin vege tan leather. Yea...I know...the stain...I chose this bit of the material to make the jacket because it is intended for my own use. So I can use up the ugly bits and leave the pretty bits for my costumers :)

The jacket is designed to have a pen holder and 2 card or memo paper slots. I think it is handy to have some memo paper and a pen ready whenever I am reading a book. I love to jot down ideas and inspirations as I read along. Although I am reading from an E-book, but a sticky memo feels so much real to me, so I won't give up on writing ideas on the sticky memos.

As you can see from the last photo, I particularly made an opening for the main button and the USB port, so no removal of the Kindle device from the jacket is necessary for all functional operations. (If you are thinking of getting one of this from me, no worries about the stamping of my brand's name on the back of it, I only do this if the product is intended for my own use. The one you get will only has the short from of my brand's name hidden out of sight) :)

A custom-ordered wallet and coin purse set is in making!

After the Kitty Cat Clutch, my project this week is to make a very special custom-ordered wallet and a matching coin purse. Being able to involve in the making of a gift that somebody intended for their loved one, it's the best and happiest feeling in the process! And this feeling motivates me to achieve the best result I can in the making of the product. I won't let you let your loved one down!

Key pouches for your family

Keys without a pouch could be problematic when it went swimming in our bag. It could scratch our smart phone, scratch our notebook computer, scratch our wallet, pull thread off our scarf....and if you are putting them into your jeans pocket, it may eventually make a hole on the pocket!

My top 3 essential bag & sac accessories when I step out of my house are: My tote, my wallet, and my key pouch!!

This is a key pouch I made for my dad. It is made of soft cow leather so that the shape of the pouch won't cause discomfort when my dad put it into the pocket of his clothing. With the personalized stamping, it can be a lovely gift for your family too!! It's time to order a handmade leather key pouch for your family for this Christmas :D

New packaging - functional & sweet!

I want my customers to feel loved, and I want them to take good care of their purchases. Leather is a very durable material, it can last for a very long time when it is under appropriate care. The dust cover for leather goods is usually a boring white sac. But I won't settle with a boring sac. I think why not make it looks lovely if the content within it is also something lovely! So I came up with this dust cover, and I will also provide a little leather wax (see the cotton cloth that loaded with Fiebing's Aussie Leather Conditioner) to help my customers to keep their bags & purses shiny and soft as new! Good ay?!! To provide my customers with love and care, this is the beauty of handmade industry, isn't it?! :)

The popular Kitty Cat Clutch!

This kitty cat is all set to fly to its new owner in Australia!
Its green eyes, tiny tongue, and round fore-head is just so adorable!
This clutch is spacious enough to carry a full size magazine or a 13.5 inches Macbook Air.

I have also created a new version of dust cover (see the white/ blue polka-dots pouch). From now on, every purchase of leather bag will come with a lovely dust cover and a small piece of cotton cloth loaded with leather protective wax (it's a complementary!)!! What can be more lovely than a lovely dust cover that is lovely enough to be a gift wrapper :)

Super pretty brooch!!

I loooove brooches!! Especially big and chunky ones!! This Kitty Cat Brooch is designed, created, and painted on veg tanned leather by me :) This is my cat Mo Mo!! I love him so much that I think it's a good idea to paint him onto a brooch and carry him around!!

If you also would love to carry your cat around on a brooch, you are welcome to send me a photo (as clear as possible) of him/ her/ them(!!), and I will create a very personalized brooch for you!!

Its been a while since the last update. How's everyone doing? Have you been buying some handmade goodies and supporting handmade community? Come on handmade stuff lovers! You know handmade stuff is better quality and unique in style! There is always one item you could find that matches your style perfectly :)

Today I found some different style leather. Those are totally love at the first sight!! I've stock up metallic light blue (almost silver), metallic light green, and gold (with mimic crocodile skin embossment)!!! Aren't they gorgeous!!!

Oh! how I loved the golden one! It's perfect for small objects such as a coin case, a card holder, a narrow pencil case, a key holder etc. Sometimes a dash of posh-y style is what we needed to brush off the boredom :)

A home for your parking coins

Parking in Auckland is getting more and more annoying...Free parking spaces are getting less but paid parking spaces are getting more expensive! Living in Auckland, we used to pay everything by EFPOTs, but when it gets to paying parking fee, we either paid by mobile text or by coins. However, mobile text does not work every time (don't know why...)! BUT! If you got a little coin purse key holder, that holds both your car key and a few parking coins, then it might just enough to safe your day!! No magic, just fill it in with coins and off you go :)

I have another idea while doing this parking coins key holder. I might make a (wedding) ring key holder! Similar design, but of course will say 'ring' or some name relevant to the potential content. You see?! it's for people who don't want to get their precious ring scratched or soiled, but just don't know where to keep it safe (and to remember where they've put it) when they took it off outside home. I reckon a key holder with the little pouch on it that people can keep their rings in may help to prevent those little things getting lost :)

Keeping up the piggy fever! Lady's long wallet!

This is a two tones diagonal cut lady's long wallet. It is made of genuine cow leather in pink and cherry red, hand-sewn to perfection. It consists of 2 suspension pockets for notes and receipts (can also accommodate your smart phone), 6 card slots, 1 detachable zipper coin case with 2 more card slots at its' front, and 1 secret pocket at the back of the 6s card slots! What a big eater!! Flaps and case are kept in place with Japan imported brass snap buttons, lining is cute pattern fabric from Korea.

This beautiful wallet is now owned by a mother of a beautiful girl living in Australia. The piggy motif, one big piggy and one small piggy expresses their happy mother-daughter relationship! Another meaningful piece! I so enjoyed doing it :)
